Happy Birthday Tanner!
Today was Tanner's ninth birthday and we had a great Olympic Event. Athletes were invited to attend the Ashford Olympics. Athletes competed in 12 different events, had lunch and made their way to the pool. It was really fun!
Tanner held the torch as the Athletes made their way in for the opening ceremonies. Then Tanner took the athlete oath and Michael took the judges oath. I was thankful for the "big" kids who came to help and be official judges.
Every athlete had their number with a flag of the country that they represented.
We even through in a little geography lesson and made the kids find their countries on the map.
It was a fun morning but after eating lunch and opening presents, we were really ready for a dip in the pool. Then this evening, we finished the night off with a trip to Gattiland.

Wow, that looks like a ton of kids! It sounds like a lot of fun! We were thinking of Tanner yesterday.
