October has been a crazy month and it doesn't look like life is going to slow down any time soon. Below you can read some more details about out life. The following things have happened to us in October:
*Mike has traveled to San Antonio, Ohio, and California (where he had dinner with Craig and Callie), had a birthday, and had a joke played on him and the Ward clerk on Fast Sunday with the payment of tithing (he had to count about 4 times the usual amount and the other counselor paid in Kopeck (Ukrainian money), & he caught 6 mice in the house and garage
*Jeri went to Utah, & helped put on the Carnival at Highland Park, took the top four kids to the dentist (no cavities--yeah), found two of the mice in the dog food (it will be a while before I feed the dog again)
*Michael performed at 2 football games and has another one this week, moved up from 4th chair to 3rd chair in trombone, tried out for Science Olympiad and made it, caught one mouse, went to the temple for the first time, and got 11 Merit Badges and his Star rank.
*Kelsey had a dance at Caldwell, tried out for choir and made it, made a 91% on her math CBA (the top grade in her class) & passed the others, went to Emily's Amazing Race birthday
*Tanner passed all of his CBAs, won a pizza party with his teacher at the silent auction, took the mouse that Michael caught and fed it to the snake at school, went to Bennett's Harry Potter birthday.
*Christopher has shortened his name to Chris (at least for writing it--too long to write Christopher) & had a glowing parent-teacher conference
*Paige drew on Kelsey's wall, got toothpaste on the carpet, poured shampoo in her hair and fell asleep in the bathtub (more details below).
*Danielle learned to crawl, sit-up (in that order) and pull up, she is in the process of getting four teeth at once (fun), & took her first real bath.
Now you can see why I haven't been on the computer much. Our life is crazy--but so should the life with 6 children be. I would be more worried about us if we had nothing to do.
