Michael received 11 Merit Badges at the beginning of the most as well as his Star rank. We are so proud of him and all his hard work--his mom's too. For those of you with boys, I have a great Merit Badge plan. We started a group this summer. We invited families to join who were willing to teach a Merit Badge. We at 7 families involved. We each taught 1 Merit Badge and sent our boys off to the other houses to earn more. It was fun for the boys to be with their friends instead of doing them all alone at home. It was easier for mom's too because they only taught one and got their boy 7 Merit Badges. There are 21 badges in all required for Eagle so we are half way there. Next summer Michael will be doing his Eagle project--yippie!!

11 Merit Badges
