Friday was finally Field Day. It was postponed two weeks because of weather. We were a little worried this week because there was a 20% chance of rain. However, the weather held out to our advantage. It was a beautiful day, not even too hot by the afternoon. Classes designed their own shirts around the Dr. Seuss theme. I substituted a few weeks ago for the PE teacher so she could go and see what Caldwell's Field Day was like. The PE teacher there, bagged up all of her field day things and gave it to our brand new PE teacher. She was so thankful. The Caldwell teacher even came over to work our field day. Tanner's class was all dressed like Thing 1 and Thing 2--blue hair and all. Tanner being the most blond of the group was their "poster child" because his hair was very blue. Kelsey's class had Cat in the Hat on the front. We went to Build a Bear on Friday and bought a Cat in the Hat for the PE teacher and will give it to her tomorrow.

Fun! I loved field day when I was in elementary school. Looks like you all had a great time.
